What we use, and why

Essential
A session cookie that remembers your cart and keeps you logged in through checkout. The site cannot function without it, so it is set without asking and cannot be turned off from here.
Analytics
Microsoft Clarity, which records aggregate usage so we can see where the site confuses people. It captures interactions, not card details or passwords.
Advertising
The Meta pixel, when advertising is running, which reports that a purchase happened so we can tell which ads work. It is only loaded when a pixel is configured.

Turning them off

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and every major browser lets you do it per site. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and checkout, because those are what the cookie is for.

  • Most browsers: settings, then privacy, then cookies and site data.
  • To opt out of Meta advertising specifically, use the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.
  • Sending a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal is respected for analytics where the provider supports it.

What we do not do

  • We do not use cookies to build a profile of you across other websites for our own purposes.
  • We do not sell data collected through cookies.
  • We do not use dark patterns to make refusing harder than accepting.

Third-party cookies

Our payment provider sets its own cookies on its own checkout page, which is necessary for the payment to work and for fraud prevention. That happens on their domain under their policy, not ours.
